My Favorite Online Boutique: Hazel & Olive

Have you ever heard of Hazel & Olive? Well if not, today is your lucky day! I LOVE this boutique! They have some of the cutest clothes/shoes/accessories and prices range from $20-$50. The best part? They post new items on their website almost every day at 8 p.m. CT, so new items are constantly available!

Hazel & Olive has a store in Rockwall, TX, but they also ship all over the U.S. and internationally. And shipping is always free in the U.S. (score!). If I order something on a Monday, I usually have it by Friday and sometimes even by Thursday. This is great when I'm looking for something cute to wear for last minute weekend plans. Here are a few of the items I've ordered recently:

Although they sell tops, shorts, shoes, etc., I'm a big fan of H&O's dresses! They always have cute dresses, both for casual days and nights out on the town.

Check out Hazel & Olive on their website, on Facebook, and on Instagram. But be careful - they post previews of new items on their social media sites that will be available later that day. These teasers make you want to shop constantly. ;)

Happy browsing!

*This blog post is my personal opinion that I simply wanted to share with all of my blog friends. I was not paid by anyone to write a review or opinion piece*

Hey, It's Ok Thursday + Things I'm Loving Thursday

It's ok that I'm merging two posts, right? I mean, this week has been nuts, so I think it's only appropriate to share with you both the ups and downs. :)

Hey, it's ok...

1) That about 30% of my to-do list for the week has continued to roll over to the next day (and the next...and the next...). I mean, I can only do 10 things at a time, not 11. I'll get to these tasks eventually...

2) That I was supposed to run 5 miles yesterday according to my training plan, but I ran 4 and walked one. I was TIRED...throw me a bone!

3) That I've "scrunched" my hair almost every day this week instead of taking the time to straighten it. I mean, that extra 15 minutes of sleep can be invaluable, can I get an amen?

4) That I have only cooked dinner once and I have forgotten to pack my lunch for work every day this week (= eating fast food). Whoops! ;)

5) That I stress out, freak out, and over-analyze all the time every now and again because I know that I have a God that loves me unconditionally, even in the moments that I forget to fully depend on Him. He strength is made perfect in my weakness and I love this. God is so good.

Things I'm Loving...

1) My mascara = Maybelline Colossal Volume. This stuff is so legit! I have not found another mascara that truly volumizes the way this one does. I am never diappointed and can always depend on long, full lashes to be delivered with this guy.

2) Mine and Luke's new bedspread. I posted a not-so-great picture of it in my last post, but the lighting didn't do it justice. I bought this comforter set from Macy's way on sale this past weekend and after a few nights, I've decided it's my favorite comforter EVER! And I think Luke agrees since I wake up with about 1/4th of the blanket barely covering my body and the other 3/4ths wrapped around him, ha!

3) Colored skinny jeans. Yes, I'm jumping on the bandwagon. :) Being a short and somewhat curvy girl, I'm never really liked the concept of skinny jeans, but when I was in NYC, they were EVERYWHERE! And I loved all the colors...red, coral, royal blue, purple. I haven't stopped thinking about this new fashion trend and I think I'm about ready to break down and buy a pair. I'm really feeling these from American Eagle. How do you feel about skinny jeans?

4) Under Armour HeatGear Capri Tights. If you are a runner and haven't purchased a pair of these, I highly recommend them. Luke bought me a pair for my birthday and they are seriously my favorite thing to work out in. They sort of form to your body as you begin to sweat, offering you protection to the elements, releasing heat to keep you cool, and there is no chaffing whatsoever (a runner's nightmare). I'm in love!

5) My new Buckle bikini. I was not expecting at all to find a new swimsuit at Buckle. Before a couple of weeks ago, I don't think I had actually walked into that store since high school. But low and behold, as I walked past the front of the store, my eye caught something bight and summery. So, I walked in, tried it on, loved it, and purchased it! The best part, I had an OLD $10 off coupon to Buckle (again, probably from high school) and the sales lady accepted it. Waahoo!!

Have a blessed Thursday y'all! One more day until the weekend.
We can make it!!

XO, Sara

Fashionista Wannabe

I am proud to say that I am one of the few people in my life who has not become obsessed with Pinterest. However, I must also say that I think this website is absolutely fabulous and a great way to discover new DIY ideas, recipes, and fashion concepts!

Every once in a while, I will put together an outfit that I'm pretty proud of. Good color combos, sweet accessories. But for the most part, I feel like I dress a little too generic. I shop at Loft a lot, because most of the time I need work clothes. Loft's clothes are really cute, but still, I don't always feel like I put outfits together well. It is my goal this fall to work on my wardrobe. And I plan on using Pinterest to do so!

{Blues and greens are my favorite!}

{I love everything about this color combo}

{Sparkly tank, yellow sweater, brass bangles, and bf jeans. I will recreate! Cute coffee mug = icing on the cake}

Thank you Pinterest for the cute ideas!

So what about you? What are the staples in your closet? What advice would you give a fashionista wannabe like myself?
