A Pinteresting Wednesday. :)

I've seen different blogs highlight their favorite Pinterest pins on different days of the week, so this week I'm choosing Wednesday. Here are a few of my favorite items/pins on Pinterest currently:

{These earrings are amazballs! (Thanks Giuliana, now you've got me saying it!) The next piece of jewelry I hint about to Luke will come from this Etsy shop}

{He loves hot chocolate. I love coffee. Why don't we own these?}

{I really want/need to do something like this above mine and Luke's new headboard}

{I must make these! Via.}

{I want.}

{Would someone like to buy me one that says Hinton?}

P.S. I'm leaving for a work training in Phoenix tomorrow at noon! I'm not the best flier, so if you think about it, say a quick prayer for me. I'm excited and anxious, but mostly excited. :)

Miscellany Monday

This is the only picture I got of Luke and I at my aunt's wedding, boo! But we had a fabulous time this past weekend watching Amy & Shane become husband and wife, visiting with family we hadn't seen in years (and most we hadn't seen since last weekend for Thanksgiving, lol), and dancing the night away! There aren't many things I love doing more with Luke than dancing. :)

My Baylor Bears have accepted an invite to the Alamo Bowl in San Antonio on Dec. 29th!!! AND we are now ranked #12 in the nation after beating the Longhorns this weekend!! It has been an amazing, record-breaking year for Baylor Football and I couldn't be more proud to be a Baylor Bear. I even wore my Baylor Line jersey to our weekly Monday meeting at work this morning. I had to show all those Longhorns in my office who's #1!!

Our sweet little pup is going to be wearing a diaper for the next couple of weeks since it's "that time of the month" for her. Poor Brooklyn isn't feeling like her normal self, but she sure is cute in that little diaper. I couldn't help but take a picture, ha!

I'm headed to the beautiful city of Phoenix this week! I'm going on a work training trip with my manager and another co-worker. We leave Wednesday afternoon and get back Friday evening. I know I'm going on this trip for business, but I hope we get to have a little fun while we're there! Shopping, maybe? I'm excited to get out of Texas for a couple of days and to have a few hours on an airplane to read the newest book I downloaded onto my Nook. I reminded Luke today that I was going to be gone for three days and he made the saddest face. I asked him if he was going to miss me and he said, "Yeeessss. Could you please buy me some frozen pizzas before you leave? I'll be ok if I have pizza..." Haha! I love him.

And last, but certainly not least, check out all my new sponsors over on the right-hand side of my blog! I love the beginning of the month because it means new blogs to check out and follow, so make sure you do just that. :)

Amy is getting married!!

Welp, it's my lunch break and I'm sitting at my computer at work. Blah! I wish I was grabbing a bite to eat instead, but this is the sacrifice one must make when wanting to leave work early. :) I'll be taking off from here around 3:45pm to drive about 2 hours towards my family. You see, tonight is my aunt's wedding rehearsal/dinner. Amy gets married tomorrow and I'm so excited for her and her soon-to-be husband!

{My aunt, Amy, and I at my wedding in June. Can't wait for her big day tomorrow!!}

Amy has never really been like an "aunt" to me, but more like a sister. Since I'm the oldest of my mom's girls and she's my mother's baby sister, Amy has always been more like the big sister I never had. I've always looked up to her. It never fails, Amy knows every word to every popular hip hop song out there and has dance moves to go with each one! As a kid, I remember her driving me around in her little white car telling me "grown up" stories about her life that I was so envious of. When I've had questions I didn't want to ask anyone else, I was able to ask her. She has come to every big event in my life (jr. high, hs, and college graduations, basketball games, my wedding, etc.) and has always been one of my biggest fans. I absolutely cannot wait to be there for her as she takes the biggest step of her life tomorrow.

Amy, I love you SO MUCH and I'm so very happy for you and my new Uncle Shane! I wish you two nothing but joy and happiness for the rest of your lives. And, I'm praying for no more rain until after 6pm tomorrow evening! Love you sister. :)
