I need some major bang help. If you read my blog two posts ago, you learned of my much anticipated haircut. I'm still loving the cut, no worries! But I've got to figure out these bangs. If you have bangs and you know how to rock them, you're the expert I need to talk to!

This is the photo I used as inspiration for my new cut:

And this is what my new hair looks like:

Now, I obviously have a little of my hair pulled back in this picture, but you get the drift. I was a little nervous to cut as much bang as Kerrington (SYTYCD) did in picture #1. I've never made a commitment to my bangs in that manner. But on the other hand, I'm afraid I didn't cut enough. How do you find a happy medium between mega-bangs and "are those bangs or an accident?"

Am I not styling them right? I've tried a flatiron, blowing them dry with a round brush, etc., but I still end up pulling them back. I want to learn to wear my new bangs confidently. Suggestions? Help??

  1. I'm sorry but what store are you in with camo vests everywhere???

  2. Puh-leeze, I'm at Academy! Of course, any time that Luke and I spend together must include a trip to Academy to look at guns. I think he's buying a new one this weekend. Oh, sweet married life...

  3. I wish I had some advice for your bangs, but I'm really just here to commiserate. I always have bang issues! No one ever cuts them right, and I can never get them to do what I see in magazines. I think I need to hire a personal hair styler. Lol.

Happily following you from the Welcome Wednesday Blog Hop. I would love it if you would follow back. Stop on by and say hi!

  4. Hello new bloggy friend! I am your newest follower and
    would love a follow back!
    Have lovely day,

Oh. My. Goodness. Love your dress!

  5. Sorry I don't have any advise really. I wanted bangs in the front, well just shorter then usual and I got really short bangs and I it looked bad...I cried!

Let me know your thoughts! I love comments. :)
